Joseph Maurice Ravel, born at the 7th of March in 1875, died at 28th of December in 1937, was a french composer and pianist, notable for his musical colourisation. Many of his works are standart repertoire of todays artists. Some of his most popular works are his "Boléro", the "Valses Nobles et Sentimentales", "La Valse", "Daphnis et Chloé" or his arrangment for orchestra of his good friends Modest Pietrovitch Mussorgksij´s "Pictures of an Exhibition".
